Tania S López is a self-taught, contemporary artist. Born in Puerto Rico but raised in The Bronx, NY. She enjoys playing with an urban feel to her otherwise culturally fused artwork. Tania’s work typically portrays her nostalgia for different aspects of her beloved island of Puerto Rico but wishes to be able to display and educate on women’s roles throughout the history of the island. She likes to dabble in and definitely admires, a variety of art styles and mediums but her preference is acrylic on canvas. Tania’s artistic goal is to help nourish Latin-American art and aid in the empowerment of Puerto Rican women entrepreneurs here in the diaspora. As well as grow her illustration and specialty item designs portfolio.
